Residential customers with a clear payment history (no late notices, returned checks, or disconnections for unpaid bills) are eligible after 24 months to have their prepayment refunded.
Prepayments refunded under this policy will be applied directly to the customers account and refund checks will not be issued under this policy.
Closing an Account
Customers that close their accounts and have a prepayment on file will have their prepayment applied towards the closing balance. If there is a credit balance left over, their refund will be mailed to their forwarding address. The refund process takes approximately three to four weeks from the date the account closed.
Balances due after the prepayment has been applied are due immediately to avoid being sent for collection.
